Our campaign / group is now attracting a number of high profile names.

We would like to thank the following people for their support and for speaking out against the impending badger cull:

‘’we fully oppose the badger cull and support the work that Gloucestershire Against Badger Shooting are carrying out’’

The Levellers are an English rock band, founded in 1988 and based in Brighton, England. Musicians Mark Chadwick and Jeremy Cunningham met in The Eagle, a pub in Brighton, in 1988. Discovering that they had a fair bit in common, including a left wing view of politics, they decided to form a band. They soon added Charlie Heather on drums and Jon Sevink on fiddle. Jeremy, Jon, Simon and Charlie continue to this day (with Matt Savage later joining on keyboards) and have a new album out called Static on the Airwaves.

'I came to Tewkesbury to share my passion for our badgers and I am delighted to see that the GABS group has taken up the challenge of stopping this pointless cull'.

GABS is a proud  member of:

Gloucestershire Against Badger Shooting (GABS) is a group of volunteers who came together in the summer of 2012 to try and prevent the planned badger cull in our county. Like farmers, we want to see the end of the spread of Bovine TB in cattle; the evidence shows that culling badgers is not the answer.

We regularly work with local people and national charities and we only campaign peacefully and within the law and do not believe in intimidation; we have supporters of all ages and occupations, including farmers.
